Obsidian grants you some unique perks in Survival. When purchasing, ensure that you have an empty spot in your inventory. 

• Unique prefix in chat.
• Ability to ask to teleport to others or tp them to you. (/tpa, /tpahere)
• Ability to open up a crafting table wherever! (/craft)
• Ability to set five homes. (/sethome, /home)
• Ability to see who is near you. (/near)
• Ability to give yourself a nickname. (/nick)
• Ability to put whatever you want on your head. (/hat)
• Ability to teleport back to where you were prior. (/back)
• Ability to feed yourself whenever hungry. (/feed)
• Ability to clear your inventory easily; be careful not to lose important items! (/clear)
• Ability to condense items into blocks; useful for iron or gold farms. (/condense)
• Ability to fix up your tools whenever. (/fix)
• Ability to use enderchest whenever. (/enderchest)
• Ability to ascend or descend. (/ascend & /descend)
• Access to /kit Obsidian
